Acanthus mollis – Bears Breeches
Bear’s-breeches are a clumping shade plant with large deep green rough-cut leaves that are great for shady or partially shady areas. In Summer you’ll tall light pink and white bloom blooms should appear above the foliage.
Due to their size and shape, they are often used as specimen plants. Both deer and rabbit resistant, they are slow growers and may take a few years to reach their potential as a garden centerpiexe.
